music fridays / 002 "because, christmas"

As soon as December comes, you bet that I'm putting on the cheesiest Christmas tunes. I thought I'd put together a different kind of Christmas mix, for myself too (but I'll still be playing the usual Bublé and Sinatra albums). 

Christmas was a big deal in our family of 3 when I was lil' one, and even though we don't put up Christmas lights or string up tinsel all over the house, it will still always feel like a magical, special time of year. 

It'd be even better if it was snowing, everyone was wearing Christmas sweaters and we're drinking in front the fireplace... if only I wasn't in the wrong hemisphere! I do love Christmas in summer though, lots of fresh seafood, chilled wine and outdoor dinners. 

Some jazz, some country and a touch of pop...
